Description : When Whistler Mountain first opened in 1966, Creekside was the centre of activity in the valley. Largely ignored by visitors since the village and Blackcomb opened in 1980, Creekside has remained a favourite area of locals seeking an out-of-village experience.

Things began to change for sleepy Creekside a few years ago with the first phase of Intrawest’s redevelopment — the new Dusty’s, The Legends lodge and the first buildings in Franz’s Trail, the retail centre for the area.
