Description : Over the next half-hour or so the trees get smaller and sparser as you climb in elevation, until you finally emerge into the wildflower meadows. Wildflower meadows like these are few and far between - Trophy mountain and the other mountains in the south of Wells Gray have broad, gently sloping plateaus just at the elevation of tree-line. These plateaus break out in bloom each summer in a wildflower show that rivals any in British Columbia.
