Description : To tell its story about agriculture, the North Battleford WDM’s Heritage Farm and Village has recreated a Saskatchewan town and working farm, circa 1925. Moose Jaw’s facility covers the History of Transportation with an impressive collection of automobiles, airplanes and trains.

Located near the confluence of the Battle and North Saskatchewan rivers, the area thats now the Battlefords was a meeting place for aboriginal peoples long before history was recorded. A fur trading post was established here in 1785, and a North West Mounted Police post was built (on whats now the outskirts of The Town of Battleford) in 1876.
