Description : The Skeena River boasts one of the world,s largest runs of Steelhead, Chinook and coho salmon.
The second largest all-Canadian river in British Columbia, the Skeena River is 350 miles in length. Its source is the Skeena Mountains, the delta is the Pacific Ocean, at the 54th parallel, and the drainage is 15 thousand square miles. The Skeena River was first named in a map in 1867.
