Description : The building is a priceless monument in the true sense of the term, since it is unlikely that it could be reproduced today. The base of the building forms a letter H. The three floors contain an area of approximately a quarter of a million square feet. The top of the dome is 72 meters (240 feet) above ground level. The present building is the third. The first assemblies met in the home of A.G.B. Bannatyne, and the second building, razed in 1919, was on the present legislative grounds.
