Description : The Westside is not often visited by tourists as it is off the beaten path. In some ways, rightly so, but this out of the way area located on the western shores of Alta Lake offering most homes superb views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, Alta, Alpha and Nita Lakes. Rarely does anything come onto the market in the Westside, so when it does it is snatched up quickly. Two of Whistler's newest developments have popped up in this community, called the Nita Lake Estates and the super exclusive Stonebridge Estates. Stonebridge is a very unique community in that it is the only area in Whistler which has all estate sized lots from an acre to twenty acre lots and homes up to eight thousand square feet with a coach house. Most homes will not be visible from street level, but each home will have a birds eye view of the entire valley.

The only negatives are that there are high voltage towers and lines stretching around the Westside and that very little information is being released on the Stonebridge development - very unusual for the resort!
