Description : The Cassiar Highway runs for 450 miles from the junction of Highway 16 to the Yukon border with pristine scenery and many species of wildlife popping up at various locations. The road conditions can vary season to season, and even during the spring, travelers should be forewarned that snow can blanket the road. The highway is hard surface the entire way through British Columbia, Canada, but be leery of potholes after a long, cold winter.
