Description : At the end of the Squamish Estuary is the the Squamish Spit - Squamish is a very popular destination for Windsurfing at the Squamish Spit, another world class activity. From the spit where windsurfers like to surf, you have a panoramic view of the Squamish Valley. You can see the falls at Shannon Falls Provincial Park flowing down the mountain beside the Stawamus Chief. The Mamquam Glacier in Garibaldi Provincial Park can be seen looming in the background between the Stawamus Chief and Mt. Garibaldi in Garibaldi Provincial Park.
