June 10, 2008: Cables Arrive at the Port of Vancouver, Washington, United States
June 11, 2008: Cables are transferred to rail and travel via Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF Railway) and the CN Railway
June 18, 2008: Cables arrive at Mons Road rail siding in Whistler, BC and transport of reels up Blackcomb Mountain begins.
July 7, 2008: Rope stringing begins
August 29-30, 2008:Cable splicing for the haul rope takes place
September 8, 2008: Rope Stringing ends and 28 gondola cabins arrive
September 19, 2008: First 12 Sky Cabins are strung and cross the valley
December 12 2008: Grand Opening of Peak 2 Peak Gondola
